Divine 'pressure'

Matthew 26:36 says - "Then Jesus came with them to a place called Gethsemane, and said to the disciples, Sit here while I go and pray over there". Gethsemane in the Greek means the place of the oil press. In the Hebrew it is comparable to the word 'Shemen' meaning grease, richness in anointing, fruitful oil. Perhaps the 'oil-pressing' foot of the Father was pressing down on the Divine 'Olive'. There are most definitely times of pressing on our souls when it seems the Father is silent. Yet the response must always be, Lord not my will but Yours be done. Under times of 'Divine pressure' let us release a fruitful oil that will cause others to see the work that God is performing in us.
