Romans 13:8 says - "Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for he who has loved his fellow-man has fulfilled the law".
It is easy to build up the wrong kind of debt. However, we find Paul speaking here about a positive debt which requires the giving of love to others and in so doing we fulfill the law. We owe love - and lots of it!
