Hidden in Christ

Exodus 33:21 says - "And the LORD said, 'Here is a place by Me, and you shall stand on the rock. So it shall be, while My glory passes by, that I will put you in the cleft of the rock, and will cover you with My hand while I pass by.'" I just love the phrase "Here is a place by Me". As I reflected on this I came to the understanding that God’s grace has allowed us to enter into His presence and actually live! Christ the sold rock has made provision for us to draw close to God. I want a place by Him. I want to be where is and where He is going. Moses had to be in a special place in order to behold God's glory. Not only must we be founded upon Christ, we must also be hidden in Him – placed in the cleft of Christ the Rock and covered with the hand of God. None except those who are hidden in Christ the Rock will survive the revelation of God in all His glory. Hide us Lord that we would see You more.

Thank you George for opening my eyes to this verse, now i know what the song mean't. Rock of ages cleft for me, i have sang that song in church many times but it never spoke to me until you wrote this blog on Exodus 33v21. Gareth and i really want to hide ourshelves in him so that we can see more of him. More Lord.

We brought our friend who became a christain about 2 months ago to church on Sunday night. We have prayed for her to hear Gods word and get fellowship for sometime now, because she was nervous of church having never been she did'nt know what to expect. We tried to explain what it was like. Filled with Gods people praising in worship and prayer and the spirit of the Lord coming down on us and filling us up. We were always so excited telling her about the blessings, healings gifts of the spirit and Gods wonderful presence we experience in our church P.C.C. Well its not one sided anymore, she came to visit today and she had that hunger, thirst and excitment for God after coming to church last night. Her words were :i was nervous in the carpark but when i entered in the door i felt the presence of the Lord, and all fear was gone, the feeling was surreal, i have never felt any thing like it, i was blessed and i will be returning next week for more: These were her words and we thank God for answered prayer and for using George and Irene to impart onto us what the Lord has give them so we can use it to witness and pass it on to others. Gareth and i are blessed God has been so good to us. Gareth has got an appointment for surgery he's been waiting for it's the 9th of october. We have give it up to God, we trust him to carry Gareth through because he's in control and its a wonderful feeling knowing that your father is in control. We love you heavenly father and thank you that you have a plan for our lives and thank you for the place we are with you right now. Thankyou Lord that we are resting in you. One day at a time sweet Jesus Thankyou Lord x

Jem & Gareth, this is so overwhelming. His glory - translated also as His goodness is surely among us. People will see Him by the way we live our lives and by the pure spirit He has placed within us. What a time to be alive! Come and See!
Bless you guys. Healing and health be upon Gareth in Jesus name.
