The Gate
In John 10, Jesus said to the crowd, "I am the gate for the sheep…whoever enters through me will be saved." Why did Jesus call Himself "the Gate for the sheep"? In those days, a shepherd would make an enclosure of thorny branches or rocks, constructed with a single doorway by which the flock could enter. When evening came and the sheep had entered, the shepherd himself would sleep in the doorway of the sheep pen to guard his sheep. Thus, before any wild animal could enter the pen and kill a sheep, it would have to come through the doorway where the shepherd lay. The shepherd would then chase the wild animal away before it could harm the sheep. In this way the shepherd himself was "the gate for the sheep." I got to thinking that the thorn crowned Christ showed us that He has surely made a way so we would be saved!

I'M SORRY!
I'm sorry for never taking enough time to spend talking to you.
I keep trying to give up my sin but the devil keeps tempting i end up giving in.
I want my life to be a mirror image of yours then let your spirit open the unlocked door to my soul.
I want it to cleanse me and make me whole then let my body be an instrument for you taken me to places that i never knew.
Please help me Lord before my time has elasped and i'm on my knees broken, when my soul has collasped.
I don't want to miss my chance if the end days should come but all my sins have my mind over run.
I know it's no excuse just a silly reason why for those stupid things i do i should let my soul die.
So Lord Jesus in your house let me stay please help me harder don't let me stray. AMEN
I wrote this poem three years ago and i'm glad to say i give my life back to the Lord on 19th November 2008. The reason i'm putting this poem in now is to remind myself and show the devil how far i've come. I trust God to lead the way now and believe every part of his word, yes i'm still paralysed, yes i'm still in daily chronic pain, yes i've two operations coming up but yes my God is well able to meet my every need. As he said in 1 Peter ch4 v12-13 Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you. but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ's sufferings, that when his glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.
I was awake all last night which is not out of the norm but for some reason last night the devil attacked me more than normal so i done what i normally do when this happens pray for others and shout out to God with a voice of trimpuh that's not to say it came easy. There was tears Jem and i are exhausted but God gave us this scripture along with others while we were in warfare and Jem annointed me with oil it's true when you really need and really call and you just don't stop, even though all evidence is to the contrea
God meets with you he realy does. Thankyou Father for once again carrying us through, all praise to your son Jesus.
