Encouragement

Paul, the author of many of the documents of the New Testament, teaches that we are to, "encourage one another and build each other up" (I Thessalonians 5:11). He gives some detailed instructions for doing this in subsequent verses 12–23. They include giving special words of encouragement to "the timid" (verse 14). This gift can be expressed in patience (verse 14) and kindness (verse 15). It involves holding "on to the good" (verse 21). Let’s encourage one another in what is good with words of thanks, keep up the good work, don’t give up, nice jumper, good hairstyle, God bless you, friendly hugs, timely calls, surprising notes, text messages, emails, blogs, some unexpected flowers, a personal effort of help, daily prayers, and consistent friendship and love. Encouragement is a special gift with eternal benefits. Encouragement is one of the telling signs that you are among true believers.

We love todays blog, it's just an example of encouragement. These blogs are a life line for us daily. If the Lord is truely in us we won't even have to try to behave in the way Paul tells us because we will want to encourage one another and the love of the Lord in us will make it come naturely. The Lord has blessed us at pcc where we get encouragement in many ways and with that strenght we do the same to others.Praise God for that wonderful love we get such pleasure in sharing when we witness.
Thankyou Lord again for another nights sleep for us.
Thankyou for that peaceful place you have us in at the moment with you.We just won't stop reaching out to you for more Lord. We love you Lord God.
We love pcc.
