God has feelings too!

Does God feel our pain? Hebrews 4:15 makes a statement that our Great High Priest is able to sympathise or is "touched by the feeling" of our weakness, pain and struggles. The answer then is yes, God feels our pain and has compassion towards us. Verse 16 of the same chapter speaks of making steps towards God for the remedy in our time of pain. With the suffering we always have the remedy. God has made provision for our needs. During times of suffering and pain we must have a heart of worship which causes us to approach God. This is "gutsy" worship. Worship beyond all cost. In the words of Matt redman's song Blessed be Your name -
"Blessed be Your name
On the road marked with suffering
Tough there's pain in the offering
Blessed be Your name".
Know today that you have One who understands everything about you. God has feelings too!

George this blog really spoke to us. We know that God feels our pain because when we cant go on with out sleep, or cant get any comfort with pain. The last thing we have engery to do is praise God but we do and when we push through with this kind of worship God takes over and gives us what we need as we need it. He never gives us tomorrows needs today because he gives us the right touch at the right time. When we came home on Sunday night Gareth was annointed with oil as we prayed the spirit of the Lord came down on us and we had a great time in his presence but for the next 3 or 4 hours we didnt have a good time settling down for the night but the Lord stepped in and give us peace, sleep and comfort praise his name. Gareth says the sunday night message really spoke to him and reminded him of gutsy worship when your feeling pulled down. We had to leave early but not before we heard what God had intended for us. Thankyou Lord Jesus x

Thanks Lord for answering the prayers of Jem and Gareth. During these times Carol and I have relected on Habakkuk 3:19 -
"The Sovereign LORD is my Strength
He enables me to go on the heights". One commentator calls these the "high places of sufferings". Mount up and draw near. Bless you both x George.

I really liked this posting too. I've heard it said too many times,
"Oh you walk by faith and not by your feelings," or something like this. Well to me the bible verse says we walk by faith and not by sight. To me this is different.
I think that faith and feelings are meant to work together. Jesus had compassion on the sick .... then He healed them. He cried at Lazarus death, then He raised him. What does anyone else think. Do our feelings strenghten our faith? Yeah, some people may think our feelings arent important .... Im glad God cares.
Thank you Jesus for your love.
