Hope in God

Sometimes life can beat us up. In Psalm 42, David speaks to his soul. He asks (KJV), "Why are you cast down? Why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God!" We need to command our own souls to start trusting God. It is a choice. We can choose to trust Him. We can also choose to praise Him - even when we don't feel like it. This is our "sacrifice of praise", as seen in Hebrews 13:15. And as we choose to put on the garments of praise, that spirit of heaviness falls aside!

Who else is there to hope in? Where else can we find all that our hearts long for? Yes George He indeed is worthy of our praise. Yea life can throw us all kinds stuff but you know what when we realise that we sit in the palm of His hand it changes things. Peering over his thumb at the worst life can chuck at us, knowing our outcome relies on HIS strength and compassion invokes a torrent of thankfulness and gratitude.

IN THE WORDS OF MR SMITH:-

Oh I could sing unending songs
Of how you saved my soul
Well I could dance a thousand miles
Because of your great love.

My heart is bursting Lord
To tell of all you've done
Of how you changed my life
And wiped away the past
I wanna shout it out
From every roof top sing
For now I know that God
Is for me not against me

Everybody's singing now Cos we're so happy
Everybody's dancing now Cos we're so happy
If only we could see your face
And see you smiling over us
And unseen angels celebrate
For joy is in this place

We both see results daily as we push through with our hope in God. When we praise and worship him you have every thing to gain and nothing to lose. Praise be to God almighty for as i type this blog the Lord has used me to annoint my husband with oil and pray over him and as i did he drifted of to sleep after having a long day of suffering pain. The Lord answered our call for comfort and sleep. glory be to his name we love you jesus x
