We read in Genesis 26:22, "And he removed from thence, and digged another well; and for that they strove not: and he called the name of it Rehoboth; and he said, For now the Lord hath made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land."
Isaac not only re-claimed what his father had claimed, but he dug new wells and made his own claims. It is profitable to go after the same spiritual truths that our father’s went after. We must both draw upon and remember all that has gone before yet we must also open new wells and make claims to spiritual territory in our day. This generation is thirsty. They need led to new wells. We need to experience a work of God in our day and in this place. Dig deep for many will come to drink.

This really got me thinking, in particular about Isaiah 12:3 'therefore with joy ye shall draw water out of the wells of salvation', that verse was given to me in PCC the other Sunday and I'm still getting fresh revelation from it!
